Your college job board shows roles that recruiters have posted and your placement admin has accepted. Here's how to use it effectively.
Opening the job board
Sign in at app.myskilldb.com and open Job Board from the main menu. You'll see internships and full-time roles targeted to your campus.
Filtering jobs
Use filters to narrow results:
- Department — CS, ECE, MBA, etc.
- Skills — roles matching skills on your profile
- Location & salary — when provided by the recruiter
- Job type — internship vs full-time
Saving jobs to your skill planner
Before applying, save a role to your Skill Planner. MySkillDB extracts required skills from the job description and builds a prep checklist tied to that specific role.
Applying to a job
- Open the job detail page and review required skills.
- Complete recommended assessments for the role (if available).
- Build or select a job-specific ATS-ready CV.
- Click Apply. Your CV, skill score, and video CV (if added) are sent together.
Tracking applications
Open Applied Jobs to see status updates: submitted, under review, shortlisted, interview scheduled, offer, or rejected. You'll receive reminders for upcoming interviews.
Job Sprints
Some colleges run Job Sprint drives—time-boxed placement campaigns with milestones and leaderboards. Participate when your placement cell announces a sprint for focused application windows.
