Accepting Recruiter Jobs to Your Job Board

When recruiters post jobs to your college, they appear in an incoming queue for placement admins. You control what students see on the campus job board.

Viewing incoming jobs

Sign in to the college admin portal and open Incoming Jobs or Recruiter Posts. Each entry shows:

  • Company name and role title
  • Full job description with extracted skills
  • Salary, location, and eligibility criteria
  • Target departments or batches

Accepting a job

  1. Review the job description and skill requirements.
  2. Confirm eligibility matches your student batches.
  3. Click Accept to publish the role to your internal job board.
  4. Optionally assign the job to specific departments or a Job Sprint drive.

Accepted jobs become visible to students on the campus job board. Declined jobs are not shown to students but remain in your admin history.

Who can accept jobs?

Typically Org Admins and Placement Officers have permission to accept recruiter posts. HODs may have department-scoped access depending on your college's configuration.

After acceptance

Once a job is live, MySkillDB can generate learning assets from the description—reading modules, assessments, video scripts, and flip cards. See Creating Job Assets & Learning Paths for the next steps.

Best practices

  • Accept jobs promptly so students have time to prepare before application deadlines.
  • Align accepted jobs with upcoming placement drives and department eligibility.
  • Communicate new roles to students via your placement cell channels.
