Reviewing & Shortlisting Candidates

MySkillDB sends you pre-assessed applicants—resume, skill scores, and video CV together—so you shortlist faster with real proof, not guesswork.

Applicant pipeline

Open a job from your dashboard to see all applicants in one table. Each row includes:

  • Student name, college, and department
  • Skill assessment score for the role
  • Application status (submitted, under review, shortlisted, etc.)
  • Quick links to CV and video CV

Filtering candidates

Narrow applicants using:

  • Score range — e.g. show only candidates above 80%
  • College — filter by campus when hiring from multiple institutions
  • Department — CS, ECE, MBA, etc.
  • Status — new applications vs already shortlisted

Reviewing CVs & video CVs

  1. Open the applicant profile from your pipeline.
  2. Read the job-specific ATS-ready CV—keywords matched to your description.
  3. Watch the video CV (if submitted) to assess communication and motivation.
  4. Compare skill scores against your role requirements before scheduling an interview.

CV Leaderboard

Don't wait for applications. Use the CV Leaderboard to browse top students at partner colleges—sorted by CGPA or assessment score. View profiles and Invite to Apply for roles you've posted.

Bulk actions

Select multiple candidates to:

  • Move to shortlisted status
  • Schedule interviews in batch
  • Send communications through the platform
  • Reject with status tracking for your records

Working with placement officers

College placement teams can bulk-share recruiter-ready candidate pools. Coordinate with placement officers for structured drives instead of managing individual student emails.
