This guide explains how student accounts work on MySkillDB and how to get access through your college.
Sign in or reset your password at app.myskilldb.com — use your college email and password on that page, or click Forgot Password there if you need to reset access or check whether you are registered.
How student accounts are created
Student accounts are college-supported. Your placement cell registers students on MySkillDB—you typically do not create your own account independently.
- Your placement officer uploads or approves student registrations.
- You sign in at app.myskilldb.com with your college-registered email and password.
- Google sign-in is not available on the student portal.
Some colleges use the registration form
If your college accepts self-registration:
- Visit the student registration page on myskilldb.com.
- Fill in your name, email, college, department, and graduation year.
- Upload your resume (PDF recommended).
- Submit the form. Your placement team reviews and approves before full access is granted.
Signing in
Go to app.myskilldb.com and sign in with the email and password tied to your college account—not Google.
Check if you are registered
Not sure whether your account exists?
- Open app.myskilldb.com and click Forgot Password.
- Enter your college email address.
- If you receive a password reset email, your account is registered. Set a new password and sign in.
- If you do not receive an email, contact your placement officer—they can verify registration and onboard you.
Completing your profile
After your first sign-in, add or confirm:
- Department and batch details
- Skills and career interests
- Contact information
- An up-to-date resume
A complete profile helps MySkillDB recommend relevant campus jobs and tailor your skill planner.
Can't access your college job board?
If you don't see any jobs after signing in:
- Confirm your college is an active MySkillDB partner.
- Ask your placement officer to verify you are registered and assigned to the correct batch or department.
- Do not try Google sign-in—it is not supported for students on the app.
