SMEC Technologies is hiring a Content Creator to tell the SMEC story across Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn — scripting, shooting, and appearing in reels, planning content calendars, and turning student success stories into engaging content.
Key responsibilities: plan/script/shoot/edit reels and videos; appear on camera for course promos, campus tours, testimonials; manage a monthly content calendar; write captions/hooks/scripts in English and Malayalam (Manglish); cover live events (seminars, placement drives); interview students and trainers; track performance metrics; stay current on trends/formats; coordinate with the graphic design and digital marketing team.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Media/Communications/Journalism a plus); comfort on camera; hands-on video shooting/editing (mobile, CapCut, Premiere Pro, or VN); strong scriptwriting for reels/shorts; a portfolio of created content (personal accounts accepted); familiarity with AI content tools is a plus.
