Posting a new job

Add a job to your college job board in two ways—via Job Hunter from the dashboard, or from the Jobs menu using manual entry or AI Job Parser.

  1. Choose how to start

    You can add a job from two places in MySkillDB. Each path continues in its column below—both merge before you publish.

    Option A

    Job Hunter

    Dashboard quick action

    Click the Job Hunter button on your dashboard to discover listings and add them directly to your college job board.

    1. Open Job Hunter from the dashboard

      From the dashboard, click the Job Hunter quick action. This opens the import flow where you can add jobs straight to your college board.

    2. Paste a job URL or description

      See in platform guide

      Paste an external job link or copy-paste the full job description. Job Hunter uses AI to parse the listing and add it to your board.

    Jobs + FABs

    Main menu

    Open Jobs from the main menu, then use the floating action buttons (FABs) at the bottom to create a job manually or with AI.

    1. Open Jobs from the main menu

      Go to Jobs from the main navigation to open your college job listing board. All jobs you create or import will appear here.

    2. Tap a FAB — manual or AI

      Use the floating action buttons at the bottom of the Jobs board. Choose manual create to enter details yourself, or AI create to open the AI Job Parser.

    3. AI path

      Select or create a company

      Inside the AI Job Parser, pick an existing company from your list or create a new one. The job will be posted under that company for your college students.

    4. AI path

      Paste the job description

      Copy and paste the full job description (JD) from LinkedIn, a careers page, recruiter email, or document. AI parses the JD and fills in role details, skills, and requirements.

  2. Review and publish to your college board

    Confirm the company, role details, skills, and department scope. Save as a draft or publish so the listing goes live on your internal college job board for eligible students.
